Thank you for your continued support, we are pleased to say that we have 100% retention rate throughout our sponsorship programme. This is because we have such dedicated sponsors who believe in and commit to the children they support and of course the children who work extremely hard to achieve and embrace the opportunity they have been given.
How we are funded:
Where your money goes:
Transparency and fundraising commitment Transparency is a way of working and reporting financial activities that is open and honest.
As a registered UK charity, we are accountable to our staff, partner, supporters, stakeholders, the UK government and, most importantly, to the former street children and young adults who we support.
Transparency is important because it:
builds trust and means the people we help, our supporters and other stakeholders can make more meaningful choices
proves to our financial supporters how we’ve made a difference with their donations
shows the children and young adults we help what we are doing in their name and enables them to be actively involved and to hold us accountable
Amazing Children Uganda’s Fundraising Commitment
We maintain the highest standards in our fundraising.
We promise to keep you informed about what you have helped us achieve and where your donations have been spent.
We chose to register with the Fundraising Regulator and adhere to their Code of Fundraising Practice, and we make sure that all fundraisers, volunteers and third parties working with us to raise funds do so as well.
We have policies in place to protect individuals who may be in vulnerable circumstances.
