Sunday 13th Jul 2014
Love running or just want to get fit? Why not enter the British 10K London Run and help raise funds for Amazing Children Uganda at the same time?
This year’s run is on Sunday 13th July and you could help Amazing Children Uganda by entering as an individual and committing to raise a minimum of £250 in sponsorship. We will pay the entry fee of £50 and provide you with an Amazing Children Uganda t-shirt to wear on the day.
How to enter
If you decide that you are up for the challenge, you can apply by downloading and completing the form here and emailing it to email@example.com. Alternatively you could post the form to ACU at 13 Ashlone Road, London SW15 1LS. When completing the form, please tick Option B for individual entry. Please also note that you must be aged 15 years or over on the 13th July 2014. Once your place is confirmed, we will send you further important information.
For more information on the run itself, have a look at the British 10K London website www.thebritish10klondon.co.uk.
to Beth and Emma who completed the British 10K London Run on Sunday 13th July.
Beth and Emma were running in support of Amazing Children Uganda. Conditions were ideal, coolish with occasional drizzle so that helped them both finish within an hour (57 and 47 minites respectively). Amazingly, they both look as fresh in the after photos as in the before photo.
There is still time to sponsor Beth and Emma to raise even more for ACU. You can donate directly to the ACU 10K My Donate site by clicking here https://mydonate.bt.com/events/acu10k2014/124815.
Or you could donate via Beth and Emma’s own pages (the funds will still reach ACU). Beth’s page can be found at https://mydonate.bt.com/fundraisers/bethstout1 and Emma’s at https://mydonate.bt.com/fundraisers/emmapankhurst.
Emma’s main approach to fundraising for the run was to run a stall at the monthly Sunday Putney Arts and Craft Fair. Click here for more details.

As well as on-line fundraising, you may want to collect donations directly or from people without access to the internet. You can download a sponsorship form here. Please encourage people to give gift aid if appropriate.
